[CRASH] whenever I load league my computer freezes

After I log in it shows a message about the new champion select system and when I click the cross to dismiss it my computer freezes and I cant do anything. Does anyone know to to solve this.

Me too, I can't open the game on my computer

When I open league on my computer it freezes my computer after logging in for 45sec-1min but then it loads. Happened in either 6.1 or 6.2 and then was fine until this last patch.
