Not being able to select a champ in PBE (Client)

I just got accepted to the PBE today, made the account for it, and downloaded it. Now when I try to start a match, it doesn't let me select my champion. The exact wording on the error message is as follows.

Error Selecting Champion

You are not allowed to use this champion since you do not currently own it.

I had the same problem the first time I used the PBE and after I got banned for 5 min because I "Q dodged" :( The first lol PBE experience is GREAT. well I guess I should have expected it lol :)
