I bought a Championship Skin (thresh) successfully in Player Select page (aram) but as soon as I made the purchase it then it dissappeared from available skins.. It wasn't there to select. Same with SSW skin. Game loaded normally, and i had the normal skin. After game, skin was shown as owned. That was a bummer, I dont get thresh a lot in arams. What happened?

You can buy skins in the champ select screen.
You can't buy Championship Thresh anymore. (I think)
The only conceivable option I can see is that you bought the random skin thing and then got that skin. In which case you wasted 95 rp and will not get any skin permanently.
Or, if I am completely wrong, Clarify. There is nowhere near enough info to make a response other than this one.

Got in Aram Queue. Got in Champ select with my random champion being thresh. Pressed on a random skin to buy, which opens the skins gallery(?) thingy. There both championship skins were available for 975rp (Championship Thresh and SSW Thresh) I bought the championship thresh and clicked OK to sucessfull purchase which got me back to the waiting screen before game loads. From there, I navigated to select the skin I just bought only to find out that it was not in the carousel, and I noticed that SSW was not there either (althought that was not the one I bought).
After the game, I went to my champs and saw the skin is shown as owned, which makes sense since I bought it normally.
If I create a custom game and select thresh, the skin is there now. But it wasnt during the time I bought it, and needed it. (I only play arams)

So you bought the Random skin for 95 rp. This gives you a random skin which you can use for one game. Yes, it does open up the skin choosing screen, but there is no way to buy a skin this way. Championship and SSW thresh are not available anymore anyway albeit a few promotions. There is no way you could have done these things.
If you had them already, that is a different story.

Once again I did not buy a random skin.
From the champ select, (this page f.e http://i.imgur.com/maS1Ovb.png) with my player being thresh I clicked on a skin (i cant remeber which one, and cant remember if I saw championship thresh there),
That click led me to this kind of page http://i58.tinypic.com/mhqb8w.png where I navigated through skins. In that caroussel Championship Thresh and SSW Thresh WERE there and available (It was Sunday, worlds were on, those skins are available). I clicked on one championship thresh and bought it for 975 RP. Clicking ok on that window leads you back to champ select. In champ select, having bought the skin, it was not in the available ones (it didnt show in picture 1 skins carousel)
This is exactly what happened and that's why I am posting here.
I own the skin, I checked it in custom game, but it was not there after the purchase in champ select.
Do you get it? I cant be more specific than this.

Hyperiön1 votesFor the most part, its been like that for awhile, you cant play the skin if you just got it in champ select. I see it on streams all the time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Robotaki1 votesThere was another case where I bought the skin from champ select, and imidiately it was available (not a limited skin tho). If it's there for a while, maybe it has been reported again? I didnt find anything but it sure is a bummer, especially for me because I only play arams, so the chances I get a skin when a fav player gets on my hands is high.
Maybe limited availability skins are glitchy somehow when bought from champ select
