[GAMEPLAY] Leblanc's Clone Hits, no assist granted

Whilst playing an aram in 6.20 patch I encountered the following paradox:

While I was backing away from a fight, I sent the clone to AA a dying opponent which I guarantee that it did (2 times tbh). The real Leblanc never hit that target, but the clone definately did.However no assist was granted after the opponent died.

Unfortunatelly I didn't have my recording software on to capture the moment.

Has anyone else noticed this? I searched some stuff but did not find something relevant.

LB clone does no dmg and therefore grants no assist.

maybe it should as it is a distraction, but she has her rework up soon anyway which makes her clone different.

I can see it applies on hit effects though.

On "On hit effect" at league wikipedia says:

LeBlanc's Mirror - Mirror Image Deals 0% of LeBlanc's attack damage but will apply any cloned on-hit effects at full damage. The mirror image cannot critically strike and does not benefit from life steal, regardless of whether or not it is applying physical damage with its attacks.

I guess dealing 0% damage of attack is the same as not dealing any damage at all?

but you usually don't have on-hit effects with lb

maybe buying item 3091 helps xD
