Help fix my league client :(

Hi, for the past 3-4 months that I've been playing League of Legends my client seems to encounter a glitch of some sort, I don't really know. Whenever I start the client up, it for some reason brings me back a patch then leading me to have an update. It would constantly do that, having to update again and again. It goes through 2-4 updates before getting back to the regular patch, even though I am always updated on clients. It seems to patch every single day, and takes so long too. Is there anyone who can help me with this problem.
