Team voice chat is not a bad idea.

In the game of League of Legends, we rely on pings to communicate with our teammates. Sometimes these pings, can't really tell the truth behind what we want to do, it's just a simple think saying that: we're going somewhere, need help, to back which half of the people never do. The communication in the game is severely lacking, pings aren't really that good. Many games such as Overwatch, PUBG, EA sports games, Rainbow Six Siege have voice comms instead of having to rely on pings completely.

Some may think with the addition to voice chat, there'll be a lot of comm spam, arguing, but not really. I've played many games such as Rainbow Six Siege, and even when I do bad my teammates either say "nice try" or even begin to roast me but the roasting doesn't necessarily affect gameplay unless they're completely mic spamming. In these games, such as Overwatch, they monitor both text chat, and also voice chat. People would believe that in voice chat, there'll be countless amounts of arguments but this is not true. Many toxic players in games, usually rely on text chat and don't want to use their voice because they're scared of talking to others so they'll stay behind their computers. If a toxic player, like myself, would be in voice chat, I wouldn't talk the same way I would in text chat inside of the voice chat. Well, that's not the case for some people but even then not everyone in the game will be toxic in comms they'll try to make play calls, call out, and try to help each other out.

With the addition of voice chat, I believe there'll be a way to encourage more team play, or even see the skills of a team using communication. There's a major difference between pinging, and talking to others. There'll be a better time to know when to go in or to call out that you need help in the river. When I played CSGO, everyone called out, and was trying to help each other... here and there I would get toxic teammates who would roast their other teammates, but they still played the game out. This game does have a small community of toxic people, but it can be compared to games such as CSGO, Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, and any other game required to have voice comms.

This brings in the idea of reports if you report someone for toxic behavior in both voice chat, and text chat it can be reviewed. I'm not an expert, neither do I know how it works but reviewing the voice chat, and knowing if someone is being toxic or not is easy to tell. We all know the type of people that will be in VC: the one who complains about Yasuo, the guy who is angry because you didn't roam up, and any other generic player you can think of. I don't believe this will be the majority of the players though, it will only be a small amount. It's also so boring to play a game, without communicating with someone it just feels like no fun this is why I duo queue every game. If this change happens, in my honest heart I believe it'd work. This is mainly for solo queue players while they play ranked games.

Riot, you can even do a temporary voice chat and have feedback on it. A good example of this is when Tyler1 actually invited people to his discord and played a game with good communication, beautiful callouts, good plays, perfect team fights and such. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIZbojOfHWQ

It was a very friendly environment in that video, and there weren't really that many toxic moments I believe. I'd honestly be really happy if this was added and especially for Junglers because you could get a good idea of when to in for a gank and such, especially when I'm playing a game like Rainbow Six and I completely pop off and everyone in the chat says "Good job man." you begin to feel good about yourself. I truly think this will improve gameplay, and possibly show a difference in skill when a team works together more efficiently using voice chat. Even for streamers, it wouldn't be too bad because they could mute that person. At the beginning of a game, and having a streamer on the team I think everyone would just say what's up to that streamers, or even say "Oh my god, is that actually Gosu?" and things like that but it would only be the first few minutes.

Sorry about any grammatical errors in this thread. xd

Honestly, playcalling is key to support. I've played with many supports in parties, and it's like they control the lane or I have the right idea of when to go in and such. This will help supports also, win more games instead of just being a burden to the game because they cannot impact anything when playing.

Another example that I forgot to add. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW58BfXupZI
