Setting User Status as "Away" does not Persist

On the friends list panel, there is a green button that you can click on that says, "Click to change your user status".

Bug exhibits the following behavior:

1. I click on the green button.
2. It turns red.
3. I walk away from my computer for awhile.
4. I come back.
5. It is not red anymore.
