Crashed approx 5 mins into game cant rejoin

So I was just playing a ranked solo/duo game and was doing great when all of a sudden the game crashed. Usually not a big deal however when I looked at my client there was no reconnect button??? I restarted the client multiple times and still no reconnect button. This is a major problem and I do not know what I am supposed to do in this situation. I can go ahead and que into another game but I do not understand why I can not rejoin my current game.
