Thresh Hooked Me Even Though he was Dead?

I was playing Aram today and got hooked by Thresh after he was in dying animation. The chain connected to his body and I couldn't move for the duration of his hook. I was not pulled toward him just stunned there. I was Lulu, you can check my account game play I won't do any aram for the rest of 6/2/2019 so that way you got a better idea of which game. :D
