Promo dodges

I was searching for a match and after the timer hit an actual time of 10 minutes I decided to leave the queue and try again. Once again I made it to about five minutes and I knew something was up. I logged out and logged back in to queue up once more to see if it was fixed....it gave me a loss in my series and said I dodged with a 30 minute punishment. What the heck? I never found a match in the first place so how did I dodge? Very disappointed right now.
