Negative LP

My computer has been running league for about 3 years now with no hiccups. No crashes and no lag outs. League has recently crashed on me twice and the second time I crashed was in champ select for a ranked game. Now im sitting in s1 with negative 3 lp. What is going on with riot right now. Constant connection issues and crashes. Lag on the client? This has never happened before to me. Can anyone explain whats going on
