Games Freezing and crashing in champion select

Sometimes when i go to match making queue and accept the game league of legends client just freezes showing errors on task management. Sometimes that freeze only takes minute or 2, but sometimes it can continue as long as u get kicked out for not picking champion! This causes me to lose huge amounts of league points which is extreamly disturbing. Me and my friends havent had this kind of "bug" ever before, but after patch 5.7 it came....
