Scry Plant

I know when you pop this plant it sends out a blue mist that reveals things in it. Is it intentionally designed to allow a double pop if people attack it two separate ways? Noticed before and just saw again that when a team mate and I both attacked it at basically the same time there was a double mist of reveal.
