NAFB - Pyke Q hitbox is bad

Pyke's Q rechecks the area at the end of it's duration, allowing for hooks that shouldn't have hit.

it's not just his Q.... alot of hitboxes are wonky in this game...

Honestly, the aim should be that if an ability LOOKS like it missed, then it will miss. We should be able to rely on visual feedback to know if we dodged something or not.

Not entirely sure but i think that was a case of the hook hitbox making contact with ez´s hitbox on the ground and thats why it pulled, even though it looks like it should have missed.

Imagine a circle that Ezreal stands inside, the hook has a similar thing although it might be a box or a rectangle instead, and those two made contact on a 2D level......which is what hitboxes are.

It was made worse by Ezreal´s movement, kinda like how Kayle´s hitbox can be super confusing.

Now with these in mind i think it was a legit hit.......caused by hitboxes working the way they do rather than a outright bug.......just looks real weird visually.

two other notable bugs are that Sylas says the wrong line when stealing Pyke's ult, the other part is that if Pyke dashes through a Yasuo's windwall with his E then the phantom won't dash, not even hitting enemies on the near side

Oh, it's not a bug, it's just that hitboxes in this game are fucking garbage.

I think it is good this way, i see the complaint but it makes sense, if you walk in to a hook that thing should grab you no matter if it's on it's way out or back

Yeah no they're designed like this at the end of the projectile path hooks open up to resemble an outstretched arm closed in a fist instead of an open hand. Yes, the hit box is bigger than the hook but it's on purpose and i think there's a reason for it.
