Nami Chroma Skins not working correctly

  • Riot Support asked me to post here after opening a ticket. When I go into a game skin select for this champion and select Koi Nami skin the chroma packs do show up. Once I select the Gold one it defaults in game to the regular one. The white one doesn't work at all now. The purple one chooses the white one. I paid for this pack to work correctly, please fix this. I have already tried selecting the default skin then the Koi then the chroma. That didn't work. Last night the gold skin worked for a few games now it doesn't work at all again. Please help.

Hiya, Goddess Krystal! First off, thank you so much for taking the time to report this bug. I'm really sorry that you're experiencing these problems.

If you have the time, do you mind providing me with some more info about what's happening? Like were you queued up with friends or alone? Did you experience this on Team Builder or something else?

Also, if you experience this again weirdness again and have the time to grab some files, it would be super useful to us if you could post the following files too!

  • r3dlog (just get the last modified one if you experienced the bug in your previous match): C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Logs\Game - R3d Logs
  • AirClient log (get the last modified one if you experienced the bug in your previous Champ Select): C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.1.155\deploy\logs
  • SQLITE file (get the file named "gameStats_en_US.sqlite"): C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.1.155\deploy\assets\data\gameStats

HI Here is some more info: This has happened in every queue. ARAM, Team builder, With friends , without friends. Ive attached the files you have asked for. Just my two cents (im a software engineer, go figure right a girl that knows programming!) but the way it looks its as if the sub folders these skins are stored on in the code might be out of sync or maybe a service call is missing to a joined table?>. I say that because they are scrambled, IE I choose the white chroma and it loads the purple. Sometimes none load. The gold one doesn't work at all.

I would just like to say I'm having the same problem but so far its only when selecting the gold chroma that i've noticed.

I also have this problem, I bought it, and it has NEVER applied in game. Yes ive made sure to select it properly and have tried all the colors. Really sad :( I just wanted to use the skin.

Awesome, thanks for the update!

So would you say that your repro steps would look like this:

  1. Enter Champ Select.
  2. Select Nami.
  3. Click on Koi Nami skin card.
  4. Click on one of the Chromas swatches.
  5. If in Team Builder, click on the Done button to close the selection window. If outside of Team Builder, click on the "Champions" tab to close the skin selection? (I'm just a little confused on the "and the cursor moves to close the skin select" part.)
  6. Lock In.
  7. Observe that the Gold and White chromas load in as regular Koi Nami and the Purple chroma loads in as the White chroma?

My chroma pack is also not working. Sometimes it will let me pick the last two options, but today none of them have worked. I'm using Team Builder.

Having the same issue for two weeks now. If I select any of the Koi Nami chroma colors, the game starts and defaults to regular Koi Nami. Please reply as I haven't seen any replies to the original poster.
