2nd time in two days that client crashed in champ select

I don't know what is going on, but it keeps causing me to lose a free game and then I have to wait because of the leaver buster thinger jigger. I said jigger.

Basically, everything is smooth, then once I click a champion, this last game happened to be , I don't remember the one before, and it just freezes. No words. No sounds. The countdown freezes and the Windows error message pops up saying it isn't responding.

What gives? My PC is fine and nothing has changed.
