Client freezing when accpepting ranked matches

Ive had 2 games today where i searched for a ranked game and the client froze when i accepted the match. Like the client froze. i could hear the people locking in and the timer going down but i cant see anything. The timer for searching was still on the top corner of the screen and the rest was basically black. Has anyone had this problem? it forces me to dodge so i have a ban queue timer now for something out of my control. i also lose LP for dodging a ranked queue. So is there any fix? ive tried initiaiting a full repair and then that fixed it the first time but it just happened a second time. so that isnt fixing the issue. any help would be appreciated
