Alpha client issue

So I got into draft pick champion select, and.. it was weird. my picture went out and there were little green pixel clusters in a checkerboard pattern. Uhh and then i inevitably dodged cause my computer was non responsive, and then as soon as it went back to the normal menu and out of champ select my computer went back to normal and it was perfectly fine. It was bizarre.
