[CLIENT] Connection issues at the launch of a game can sometimes lead to the whole OSX freezing

After all the heroes have been chosen and the separate client has started loading, if for some reason there is a connection issue (be it local or the server) there is a small window popping out where you can select Retry or Cancel. If clicking retry it tries to connect again for about 10 secs before the same window pops out. If however I choose the Cancel option, nothing happens.

And by nothing, I mean absolutely nothing. The screen goes black, you cannot press any key and there is no mouse. If there is something running in the background (like audio) that precess continues to run, but neither Cmd+Tab, Ctrl+Q nor the "F3" key work. What this means is that you cannot by any means exit the black screen, even the OS functions perfectly normally. The only possible solution is to shut down the Mac. And it is extremely frustrating to force-shut down the OS maybe 4 times in a week, when I might restart the whole OS maybe 4 times in a year under normal use.

Please fix since I am sure it is a very easy solution. The annoyance is extremely high, especially when the whole restart + game load takes about 10 mins, which in a ranked game is an auto-ban essentially.
