[CRASH]DC&500 Ping spikes when I walk towards champions/minions

My friend and I have been having this problem for a couple days now. Well enter a match and have a normal ping(95) for our area. Then within a few minutes of gameplay our ping will spike to EXACTLY 500 and well get the "Attempting to reconnect" in game message. We leave the game, and our champions walk back to base. We get back in and our ping is normal, once we get near a minion, monster, or another summoner the ping spike and disconnect happens again.

EDIT: I should also probably note that my internet connection is fine. I ran speed tests, visited other websites, and even streamed music with no problems.

Here's a thread with 100+ players experiencing problems similar to this.

At face value this looks like some kind of a individual problem you are having with either your ISP or hardware. It's not clear, but have you experienced this a handful of times, and only when walking towards champions / minions? Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? If this is not one of those kinds of things, then I think this may be a post more suited to Help & Support according to the Guidelines of this board.

"This is the place to report bugs that you find within League of Legends. Something that occurs within the Client, patching related issues, or anything that involves gameplay (stuns not working, unintended interactions between abilities, vision issues, etc.) should be posted here! Please do NOT post about disconnects or lag. Instead redirect those problems to Help & Support."

This exact thing has also been happening to me.

This has happened to be also.

Mine only lasted for the games duration and afterwards went away and the following games could be played fine.

Originally I thought it was the servers because my ping was at 30-50ish range but it would give me the "Attempting to Reconnect" message while I was frozen, but I could see everyone else in the game moving around fine and using skills. (Not the usual d/c where people either stop moving or continue down their clicked path and then stop)

It's a very odd glitch/bug but it wasn't a problem on my end for sure.

Also if my memory serves correctly, after champion select the game crashed and it took me a few attempts to reconnect. It kept giving me the message that I couldn't connect to the server. Once I finally got in the game these problems started happening.

It's just weird how it was only for that specific games duration.

I've also had a similar problem these past couple of days. My ping has been abnormally high during loading, I'll be able to play for about 10 min, then my ping will skyrocket out of nowhere, then drop to 500 and leave my attempting to reconnect. I haven't changed anything to my computer/software recently, and it's only been a problem for the last week or so.

Elephant in the room... Drop hack... and I want to kill people... I want to seriously inflict a lot of pain on these people... it only happens against players on my team and the other team is completely fine... don't be arrogant and say this isn't a thing.. do a quick google search before you sound dumb.

Having same freeze / 500 ping / attempting to reconnect... raise awareness for this issue so we can play again.

Well it looks like you have bronze 5 itus. Dont want to cs or particapate in teamfights. except you have to say 5000 ping and be raging in chat the whole time. Gets ya round 50% winrate, there are people that have it worse.

Tamat I order you to get someone to answer the help and support boards about the recent lag issues we've all been having. That is all- your boss.

I have had this same issue for close to the last week. In my case, however, it has only been happening during Co-op vs. AI games. I was able to play 5 games (4 normals and 1 aram) with literally no issue at all RIGHT after the one game where I got disconnected twice. The timing for the disconnects seems entirely random, with no pattern in what causes them to occur. The game "plays out" around my champion but I have no control over champion actions for ~15-20 secs before the game stops entirely. This will happen at least once or twice during a 20-30 minute Co-op game as well. Please fix though cause it definitely is quite annoying!
