[GAMEPLAY] Katarina ignores disables

Rarely see kata cause she is almost always banned but in past two days I learned why. It looks like this champion is broken. And I don't mean just OP (which she is) but really broken and needs to be fixed.

When I hit my Q on her as Morgana, she gets hit but at the same time manages to just jump away and continue like nothing happened. When I hit my E as Zyra, she gets hit, jumps away and continues like nothing happened. Just saw Brand get a combo on her. She just jumps away like nothing happened.

I think the list goes on and on.

I read about her abilities and nowhere I see that she can cleanse with any one of them.

1 . That is not why she is banned. 2 . Crowd control does not interrupt abilities on any champion; that is not how crowd control works.

CC can stop abilities. But only if those abilities are channels.

Yes, CC stops channeling. That is something different and Shunpo is not a channel.

Vi Q is a channel and it get's interrupted by snares.

Edit: Same for Zac E.

Vi's Q getting interrupted is special to vi. That isn't how it works normally.

Nunu's ult doesn't get interrupted, neither does kat's. Snares do not stop channels.

Vi Q and Zac E are channels that also have a dash to them and that is why they get stopped. Nunu doesn't move. So that was a very bad comparison.

Those are channels that have movement attached to them.

Kat's shunpo isnt a channel. Just a cast time.

So it is normal that she gets hit by a rooting spell which should last for 3 seconds, gets to just use an ability and walks away without actually getting rooted at all? Not a bug?

So why is she banned? You can't do anything to her cause of so much damage + ability to escape just about anything you throw at her.

Because that's not what is happening and for what is happening: Yes, that is normal that abilities resolve.

You don't know what you are talking about. Abilities should never just resolve by using shunpo since it removes CC debuffs, which isn't how the ability is supposed to work. If you take any other comparable champion in that situation he would be stunned/rooted in the second location. Debuff removal isn't normal.

A Blink CANNOT resolve debuffs. You can dodge cc like veigars event horizon since it has no travel time. But it cannot remove debuffs once they are applied. The only abilities that can remove a root are Cleanse, Quicksilver Sash, Mikael's Crucible, Empowered Battle Roar, Ragnarok, Remove Scurvy and Unbreakable Will. Nothing. Else.

"A unit that is rooted is unable to control its movement for the duration. Moving covers movement commands, as well as all dash and blink abilities - including Flash and Teleport."

I'm sorry, I cannot respond to that. It's a problem with your English, "A Blink CANNOT resolve debuffs." isn't what I said and makes no sense because you do not understand what the word means. It's fine; English is a hard language to pick up if it's not native.

You referred to abilities. Sorry. But you talked about abilities that cause a debuff on a champion, which then get resolved. Which, according to you, is normal. And it's not. Tell me where I'm wrong then. Because it seems you cannot differentiate between a cleansing ability and a bug.

And by the way, picking on someones ability to talk in a foreign language is one of the weakest way to argue. Maybe bring real arguments to this matter.

If her E was already cast to blink to someone then she wont be held in place from her first position but instead be held in her second location.

Exactly, EXACTLY. Which doesn't happen. That's my whole point. I understand that she can get away with that ability but she should be rooted in her second location. That doesn't happen, she just walks away.

Snares do not cancel dashes that are used before they are cc'd.

Its like an ekko, being hit mid dash. He doesn't just stop. A knockup will stop them.

Katarina's shunpo has a very small cast time. You hit her during the cast time of it.

if it didn't have a cast time (lilke before), she would've dodged the snare.
