league lag spikes for most of game

whenever i get a kill in league of legends i get hit with a massive lag spike that lasts for the rest of the game. but as long as i dont get a kill im usually fine. i hate this. sometimes it even randomly lags. i tried to reinstall my client but i just had this happen again after a few games without the issue. please help??
