Words playing "catch up" when typing

Whenever I type in the before game team chat or post game chat my fingers are pressing keys but the letters trail behind. This problem does not persist in game or on any other application just in these two specific areas. I have not seen this talked about anywhere so the only conclusion I have is that it is a bug.
