During champ select sometimes chat wont work

So since the new patch came out yesterday randomly some games the chat in champ select will not work, it just doesnt show up and I cant say anything. I can type in the chat box but nothing shows up. It's happened in normal draft mode and normal mode, havent seen it happen on any other modes yet but I havent tried them.
