Are Bots broken?
Are the bots broken? I just played a game where a top darius and top amumu just stood there to die essentially, it was very strange and led to a very boring game.

Been happening a lot lately, at least 2 of the bots in 5v5s and 1 of them in 3v3s are broken and simply stand there to die. Bots are easy enough as it is there is no reason to make it even easier by feeding our team :|
I had several bot games with Renekton Bot who kept acting like he was trying to move out of a minion wave, just jerking back and forth in place, but he was nowhere near minions. Very strange...
Yeah I've noticed that sometimes when I'm standing right near a bot they started twitching back and forth and just let me AA them to death.
Weird.
I guess i wasn't the only one who noticed.
Was about to post this as well. Just made a solo game with 1 intermediate Darius bot on Summoner's Rift. The only attack he ever used that damaged me was Decimate (his circular swing). Otherwise, he only auto attacked minions or did some sort of range finder dance next to me. If I stood next to him, it looked like the bot was attempting to adjust the distance between me and him to maintain max melee range but would never actually do anything else except take damage and then run away when low.

Bots are most definitely broken, WW very noticeable and had a game where darius didn't appear to do anything offensive till later when he ulted for a kill, i mainly use bot games to mess around or to figure out some of the mechanics on champions. I want to practice rumble but it's worthless if they just feed me every game. RITO YO BOTS BROKE, PLZ FIX!
I've been having this issue, along with mid lane. Every game I play it seems like there is one teammate that will go mid no matter what, doesn't communicate and will and just end up feeding. It's especially annoying when you want to practice mid...
I just kind of figured that the bots are mimicking what players are doing in the games. Specifically what the bots people are using do. Walk up, stand there, occasionally attack or use spells...
I was in a game where the Alistar bot would just have an aneurysm after he got taken below 25% health and would just stand there to die. Definitely weird.
I think it's only certain bots. Ali, WW, Dar, raka, Ren and a few others will mess up no matter what. Darius and renekton have always had problems with buying items in customs but now them and other bots are just broken completely. Most bots are completely fine but it would be nice if riot fixed them already. :I
I've noticed this behavior becoming increasingly frequent in the Crystal Scar. I was playing Scion the other day and I was 1v2 against the bots and they just stopped moving or doing anything and let me kill them.
i had a tristana bot run up to me (twitch), stop moving while i killed lux and then decide to jump away after not retaliating right as i was about to kill her. i think another bot in the game (someone from top lane) was having the same problem. the bot game before that bots in top lane (ali and udyr) wouldn't attack me as rammus (before i built thornmail). bots pretty much stop attacking people after they build thornmail.
Bots are just weird.
It's easy to reproduce, too. Make a custom on SR, get a few levels, push your wave (mid lane) and then just don't go back yet. The enemy will push it RIGHT to the middle then stop attacking at all. They just do nothing. If you go to lane or push the lane or it goes further it's fine, but there's something about the mid-lane decisions about the bots where they just don't know what to do with themselves.
Same happened to me in several intermediate bot matches. One thing I noticed is that the bots will fight in a teamfight together,but will not fight back when theres only one or two of them being attacked by one player. This happens specifically after the laning phase and during the laning phase is when they attack you normally.
I've seen the same thing with Warwick bot and Alistar bot. Also I'm not sure if this is exactly related, but on the 3v3 map when the bots chase you behind your outer top turret, they get stuck and just walk back and forth in the jungle behind the turret. I had to kill them to put them out of their misery.
Just recently came out of a game where the Darius Bot seemed bugged as well, very twitchy movements and he would hardly attack after the laneing phase.
This is a real shame because the bots use to be really good (not just talking about the doom bots) but overall the quality of the bots were really good and now they are not even worth warming up on due to the bug :(
Yes warwick bot was noticeably very broken. Lots of standing there and twitching.
Yup, I just played three in a row and bottom lane was ridiculous. Miss Fortune and Alistair would kind of lane, then as soon as Miss Fortune left, Alistair lost all will to live and just let me kill him. Same went with a Taric in another game and a Cho'Gath in another.
I thought I was the only one seeing that! :D
Ive noticed this for weeks but I thought I was lagging or something, not that the bots were actually not moving.
