Sends me into the reconnect screen instead of the game

My friends and I queued for a game and were put into champ select. Once champ select was finished, everybody was sent into the loading screen with the character plaques. I was redirected to the reconnect screen and no matter how many times I have clicked reconnect it has never reconnected me. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and tried to reconnect again but nothing seems to budge.
