Yasuo selection results in game crash

The other day, I joined a Legend of the Poro King match, and selected Yasuo. The loading screen came up fine, but upon entering the Howling Abyss, the screen froze, and only the music of the map could be heard, with no champion movement. After trying to close the program through task manager, I'm left with a black screen on my desktop and the taskbar is accessible, but I can't actually close/select programs from the task bar. The only way to solve the problem for me is to sign out of the computer account, then log back in, and reload all programs. Once the game has been reloaded, I can play, but it initially crashes. This has also happened whenever I attempted to play Yasuo on Summoner's Rift. The game crashes every time I attempt to play Yasuo, and I have to take the same steps to fix it.
