Fiddlesticks Zhonya'ed Under Turret, Still Targeted

While playing an ARAM as Fiddlesticks, I had acquired among other items Zhonya's Hourglass. On 2 separate occasions, I used Crow Storm (ult) in such a way that I landed near the turret and began to harm enemy champions. After about a second of this I activated Zhonya's Hourglass. I began to hear the "Turret is targeting you" ping over and over for the full duration of Zhonya's effect, and noticed the "targeted" icon over my head. When Zhonya's finally lifted, the enemy had left the damaging area, but the turret(s) were still targeting me. I am uncertain if I had taken a scaled damage shot from the turret or not.

Steps to repeat:

1. Play as Fiddlesticks in ARAM (or possibly just Hollowing Abyss). Note: I was playing on the Red side that match.
2. Acquire Zhonya's Hourglass and make it to level 6 or higher.
3. Use Crow Storm (I used it from within the bushes near the first turret the first time) in such a way that you land near the turret and you immediately begin to damage enemy champions.
4. Use Zhonya's within the first second of Crow Storm's duration.
5. Listen for "targeted" pings, and watch for the "targeted" icon over your head.
