Mac [Client] will not open or reinstall

[CLIENT] can not open up the MAC client

My roommate and i noticed 27 days ago that we could not open the LOL client for the PBE or the normal client. This first started sometime between patch 6.2 and 6.3. When we tried to open up the client it would do nothing and then after about 15 sec it would close again like it was being force closed.

I tried to uninstall the game but i have still not been able to reinstall the game. When i try to reinstall the game the icon at the bottom pops up, to show that the program is running but then after a little bit of time it does nothing and closes itself. I had this same issue when i tried to play on my Windows parallel account but only after trying reinstall 7 times was i able to get it to download.

Let me just make this clear real quick THE ISSUE STILL EXISTS and below is how we are dealing with it.

We have temporarily fixed the issue by downloading the windows client of LOL and playing league on our Windows parallel client but obviously this is not a permanent fix. Both of our computers are up to date on all known software updates (IOS). We created a forum about this almost a month ago. Please get back to me as soon as you can.

if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I know i am not the only one with this issue.

P.S. i live on a college campus and i use Ethernet. (i don't know if this info is relevant). Also, i have enclosed a link to the original forum post I made about a month ago
