Is drop hack a thing?

I was playing lux mid last night, killed zed for first blood we were like lvl 5. About 5 - 10 sec later I get the attempting to reconnect blue bar for about a min. I try to close out and connect like 10 times even shut client then tried. Nope couldn't connect. Im probably in the stupid rage lobby right now where u are forced to wait 20 minutes to que which usually takes longer cuz all the dodges. YAY. Can i at least get a loss prevention or something.
