I am having the same problem, and I am not able to reconnect into the game. I think this has something to do with them disabling ranked queues while some of us were still in game. Hope this issue gets resolved soon.
please relax, This has happened before a few times. this will certainly be fixed it just requires some time. Your progress has not been "lost to the abyss" and your last game was not "erased"
Happened to me yesterday, fixed itself over time.

If the servers were done correctly. This would recycle automatically. Obviously an ARAM game isn't going to last 4 hours. And as a computer guy I know that the technology is there to make this happen but they don't want to spend the $$$ to make it better.
Either mine fixed itself or I did. But I tried for like 2 hours straight, and eventually, it just worked. Task Manager->Details-> right click leagueclientux.exe and end process also right-click leagueclientrendered(the one taking up more space) and end process this one too. Maybe works for anyone looking here in future idk.
