Keys Not Working - PLEASE HELP

I have not been playing League of Legends for very long. Probably close to 4 months now. With that being said ever since I began playing I will run into an issue in normal games where I load into game, and I have to check if my keys are binded to abilities before I go to lane. Several instances have happened where they aren't working, and the only way I know how to fix it is by leaving the game and restarting my client. This is a complete inconvenience because it puts you behind in game very quickly when you miss all that cs because you have to fix some bs glitch that seems to only happen to you and nobody else. If anyone knows of a way to solve this issue, I would greatly appreciate some help. Or if anyone else is experiencing this as well, please let me know.

It seems to happen a lot when I play Jinx but it happens with any champion.
