[Gameplay][Mac]Can not scroll camera, left click does not register unless I double click, need fix

I already reported this bug several days ago, but it hasn't gone anywhere and no word from Riot about a fix (or any acknowledgement of the bug in the first place), so here goes: as the title implies, ever since patch 5.16, every single game I play, I can not move the camera except by double-clicking on the minimap, or using the fixed camera mode. Scrolling my mouse to the edges of the screen does nothing. In addition, in order to accomplish anything that would normally require left-clicking, I need to double click, or the game does not register it. I am playing on a Macbook Pro, OS X 10.9.5. This is in urgent need of a fix, as I've seen several others on macs having the same problem, and obviously I can't play a real game like this (anything other than bots and I'd get crushed). I know the Mac client is a lower priority to you Riot, but still, this is a gamebreaking bug. If not adressed, I'll be forced to simply stop playing until it's fixed, as I have been this week.

Hey man! I've been having the same problem and I helped a few guys out with this already. I have just the fix for you. It's a tad annoying since you'll have to do this at the beginning of almost every game, but it only takes a few seconds. So, are you ready for the magics?

Right. First, are you playing in borderless? If not, then change that immediately. At full resolution, nothing will be different than in full screen. Then, press F3. If you checked the box in your computer settings that disables the Mac functions of the F1-12 keys, you'll have to hold the 'fn' key while pressing F3. Dunno if you're familiar with this function, but it will minimize all of your windows. Now, you gotta click on another App than League. It will take the game screen outta your face. Left click a few times on the desktop. Click on the LoL client icon to make the game screen come back up. Fixed.

Just FYI Riot, just because Guiboulou saved my ass and helped me find a temporary fix that lets me play again doesn't mean I'm not still a little mad that this hasn't been fixed yet... for anyone suffering from this bug who hasn't been told of this helpful trick to fix it at the start of a match, this is a game breaking bug, and yet it has existed for about a month now, and still hasn't been fixed. The fact that I can do an unintuitive trick that fixes the problem doesn't mean it isn't annoying that I still have to. Several people have reported this bug already, and it has existed for a month, yet it hasn't been fixed yet.

Hi guys, have just seen quite a few of these comments and threads on this issue, I have been using the mac client for some time and now it has started giving me this issue that you guys are describing.

I am using a new Macbook pro retina 13' - early 2015 base model. The command tab fix has worked for me however it causes the temperature on my cpu to go extremely high, just below the thermal cut off. Before I've had this issue the game would run no problem and low heat around 79ºC. I can't play this game with the cmd tab fix knowing my computer lifetime will be affected.

I saw these comments were made in 2015 I've even seen threads from 2014 with this same problem. Changing from borderless to windowed or full screen doesn't seem to solve the problem. On a further note when updating the client this new macbook type also shoots up to high temperatures with the League applications taking up about 70% of the cpu usage. My report of that to riot got responses but they found nothing conflicting with the client.

All in all I think more focus needs to be placed on the mac client, there are lingering bugs that just aren't being fixed.

Yeah I have the same problem .. I was going to delete the game and download it again it's so annoying and I'm new in this game .
