Please help (had been going on for a long time) (and please read it please..)

So I've been playing league on Lubuntu lately.. (For about 2 years) because I play it on my chromebook (making guide) and ever since this one update, (pre-Zoe I believe or it might have been the Zoe patch) I sometimes (literally sometimes. Unpredictable and random) get terrible loading speed.

It takes about 10+ min to load, and when I enter the game its 3-5 fps.

I used to run Lubuntu thru the usb 3.0 port, and when this loading thing started to happen, the only thing that helped was to restart it. But restarting the computer kept getting ridiculous and annoying. The maximum chance I had was to restart it two times and hope it worked. Sometimes that wont even work, and most of the time I'll get the AFKs.

I've not complained about this to riot before.

Got into my r3d logs and saw that there were no errors worthy mentioning (maybe except the IME-config mssing? But thats not the problem I think thats like for everyone? Also missing textures, but seems to not cause any problems) and what I saw was pretty shocking. The log was almost identical to the games that loaded fine (most of the time it loads faster than 3 or 2 people) but just cut off because I exited the client and restarted my computer.

Chromebooks are low spec, and my cpu is under the minimum requirements, but my ram is good and I don't have horrible fps (normally around 30-50).

So I went and got a m.2 ssd and stuck it in my chromebook because I thought it was the connection speed (it sometimes would freeze for a second or two under heavy downloading loads). And got 17.10 running. Updated Mesa and got Lutris + Wine staging. Got it installed without freezes whatsoever. Updated intel integrated driver through 01.org. Everything seemed to be working fine. Then after a few games it did the same loading thing again (and I flipped i think). I thought maybe somethin like the new graphics drivers didn't have the right cache or whatever and it would work fine later etc. But it kept doing it, and randomly it did. I was getting stressed before I even went into games.

I tried my best and I don't know what the heck is going on. Any developer or someone who had experienced this, please help!

Riot I get that you don't need to help me because you guys don't officially support Linux distros, but league used to run without the loading screen bug thing flawlessly. Maybe it had some balance issues and Zoe broke OpenGL (maybe that's the problem???), but it never had an issue like this.

Please help me 😭😭*[cass-cry]* I've tried so hard but idk what to do anymore 😭😭 I'm scared now cuz I'm on strike two of the AFK meter and idk when the bug is gonna happen again..

Hextech Repair tool does not work.. I already knew what you were gonna say..
