Client freezes during champ select - causing unintentional dodging.

This has happened to me 3 times today and I know it's not my internet connection because everything else is working fine. It seems to be happening every 2-3 games or so. The person right before my pick drains the timer to the last second to lock in and this causes my client to freeze and I can't lock in. I can hear the background music playing and that's it. I can't type, click on anything, etc. This is becoming very frustrating and I can't seem to find any way to fix this. I've been told this has been happening to other people as well. I'm avoiding ranked now because of this issue since I do not want to unintentionally give myself a loss.
