Gifting notifications

So I sent some friends some skins and champs for Christmas. They opened and got the gifts and I got the notification they received them. Now every time I log on I get like 5 notifications that they received the gifts. I have already gotten the notifications and closed out of them and I still receive them. Its not a major issue just annoying that they pop up every time I log into the game. Is there anyway I can fix this or is this a bug that will be hot fixed?
