[Gameplay] Jhin Bug?

So i was in a game with some guies, and out enemy was a Jhin. So i know when him or one of his allies hit you you get marked and when he hits you with his W it stuns you. Now this mark never showed up for me when i was hit, even after he got his W. Now i thought it was just taken out but when i searched the recent patch notes it doesn't say anything about taking the mark out. So i went into a custom with my friend and checked it out, so i could see the mark but he couldn't. is that a bug or apart of the game?
