Wait time estimate glitch?

I've noticed recently that my actual wait times have been drastically larger than the estimated wait times, is this a bug or am I just ending up on the mean side of the system? Ive had generally 1:30 - 2:00 min estimates and 10-12 mins to get into a lobby (ranked)
