Glitch with the new champ select?

So playing ranked mind you, so a LITTLE PO'd about this. In champ select I got jungle, a DEFINITELY picked smite, and our ADC picked heal, she ended up with ignight and I got teleport. I ended up being half-useless half the game cause all I could do was roam or play top support, which worked for a little but eventually their jungler had all the cs he needed and wiped our team... Thanks riot.
