So this happens 7/10 times that I play a game recently since the 4.21 patch. It will launch the game, sit there for a moment with a black screen, then a pop up appears saying the game has crashed because of my firewall. I've allowed any LoL component through my firewall and I constantly run on admin, yet it still does it. I have to restart my LoL client up to 6 or 7 times before I can play, and by then I'm so far behind I might as well of just stayed out of the game.

Would be awesome if Riot would actually put out a comment on this. Everybody has the issue from what I can tell, but f'ing silence from them.

Having same problem regardless which game type. Don't care about my missing LP but do care about getting this fixed.
This has been documented to happen to people who own freelo champs. It's part of Riots new initiative to create a healthier game environment. If you want this to stop happening to you, you should probably refund Fizz, Akali, and any of the other straight cancerous champions you probably bought because you play follow the uber. If you don't have enough refunds, you will have to make a new account because that one is going to be unuseable for a while until Riot nerfs the champions in question.
All I want for Christmas . . . is to play one game without crashing or disconnecting. Seriously, Rito. Fix your servers.

Same issue. I've pressed Reconnect a dozen times already this game, restarted the client a few times & my computer once, to no avail. Can anyone help this bug?
Same thing happened to me and it made me quit playing ranked since i d/ced out of 3 of them. please fiz riot its destroying my ranked because i made 3 games practically go 4v5 :/ I would also like my leave removed because i didn't leave the game.

This is ridiculous. Seriously, it happens every game, and I want all my leaves removed since the damned patch came out, because ALL OF THEM are because I just straight up can't connect to the game! Seriously, Riot, just remove the damned PoroKing game mode, because this only started happening after my friend made me play with with him. Gawsh.

yeah I currently am in a ranked game I cant get into to play, well my team is going to have to deal with a feed pantheon and a 4v5, hope they don't lose lp wit me. Oh wait, because of this stupid crash the game isn't fair and they will lose lp and I will be reported. please fix this in a 
Yeah it counts as "leaving" a game and stacks to leaverBuster which is BS i'm probably gonna get suspended soon from the games i couldn't connect to after the black screen of doom appears and i get the pop up saying "unable to connect to server, please check your firewalls etc..." Riot please fix this issue and reset leaverbuster Please, i don't want to be suspended from League just because of an issue you have with your servers or what ever may be causing this problem...

I play one game then an other game I wish to play is disconnected and It has "crashed" I cannot get back in and I get accounted for leaving the game

I am experiencing this as well when playing "Poro King" the error is:
Unable to connect to the server. If you have a firewall, it may be blocking th connection. Please refer to your firewalls documentation. Would you like to retry the connection?
Normally I was able to connect after 10+ tries but this time I can't get in at all. I do not have a firewall or virus scanner now. I do not have 3rd party anythings! I am directly connected into my modem. I've tried "run as administrator". I better not get "reported" and banned for this "AFK" caused by the client.
I've had the same issue. I just got an AFK in a ranked game because of this. It is total BS. Please riot fix this. It has been posted about several times on the forums if you search for it.
I'm trying to uninstall and re-install, but my game is already over. This is ridiculous that so many people are having this problem and RIOT isn't responding to it
I've had this problem ever since I started playing league about a year ago, and from all of the tests I've ran I've come to find out that like a lot of you have found out that it isn't your firewall on your computer that is the problem, but it also isn't riots fault, it is actually your internet service providers fault, for me it started doing this after a patch a long time ago, for some it's been more recent, buy through talking to my ISP it's because something new in the game patch has caused your ISP to question the server and block it, usually automatically, I know it's the ISP because I've tested it with many different ISP's at friends and relatives houses and some would block it completely, some would block it at first but then would let it through after clicking retry a couple times, and then some it would always go right through no problem. Unfortunately my ISP tech support is to incompetent to fix it when I called them but I've had friends who have, my ISP did say though that if Riot called them and talked to them then they probably could figure out why they're getting their service blocked.
TLDR: it's not riots fault it's your Internet service provider, but if contacted may be fixable, if not Riot themselves would have to contact them.
Having the same problem, 2nd time today. I can play 3 games just fine but when i'm in my series or such I can't connect to ANYTHING.
It's happened again. I've turned AVG off to see if that was it, at first it seemed like it was cuz I played a few games, then it started doing it, telling me I can't connect. This is getting to the point to where I want to stop playing League, which I don't want to do cuz I have fun with friends on it, but if this is how it's going to be, and I get punished for shit that I can't control, Riot can go suck it :/
