I've tried to log in several times at this point, each time it says authentication is successful and I start logging in but then it just stays there. I've watched the log on screen just keep doing the sweeping bars like a hypnotic retro Hypno-Toad for the past 20 minutes. I'm curious to if anybody else is having this issue with their start up. It's only done this since the 4.20 patch.

VixyColei, I'm having the same issue. Gone through the entire "trouble shooting" section to no avail. Continual "Failure to Connect to PVP.net server".
riot are you going to continue to ignore this issue you could atleast address it or say you are aware its happening

Right click, run as administrator. I got logged on this way.

Yeah I have had the same issues since the patch. The quick fix is to Right click "Run as Admin" however this does not seem to work unless you have tried to log in typically. I know that sounds crazy but If I try to log in as admin the first time , it doesn't work until I run a complete failure run and then go back to login as admin ... just saying .
