champion trades cause currentlySelectedSkinIndex to reset to 1.

I normally have Celestine or Reaper Soraka selected, and it defaults to whatever I chose last game. However, I duo with my friend a lot. When he gets first pick, he picks Soraka for me. This resets my selected skin index and then Dryad Soraka (the lamest of the Soraka skins) gets selected.
