Ivern Ultimate Status

I was in a game recently with an Ivern Jungle. There were a few times where his ult was on cooldown ( we could tell becuase he did the ctrl+r thing) but to everyone else, the ult appeared to be up. Not anything major but I feel that it is still worth mentioning.
