Corkis passive says auto attack damage will be split equally between AD an magic damage yet if you build a nashors you will do more magic damage then AD i did notice the further along in my build path i got for some reason the difference shrank but the rest of the game i did more magic damage then AD on auto attacks

sorry i do not have a screen shot i cant figure out how to take screen shots in game :/

Corki's passive only affects his basic attacks (and Sheen's) damage.

Nashor's Tooth adds on-hit magic damage.

The damage numbers tends to group damage of the same type if it occurs simultaneously (which is why you never see BoRKs damage numbers separate from the basic attack.

That would be because Nashor's bonus damage is applied after and separately from Corki's passive. The difference shrank because Nashor's bonus damage is increased by AP; if you build AD and not AP then that bonus wouldn't grow.

I guess.

His passive only splits the base auto attack damage. Nashor's adds 15 +15%AP on hit magic damage on top of that. So if you had 100 AD and 0 AP, it would be 50 physical, 50+15 (65) magic damage.

The difference in physical vs magic damage shrank over time because your base autoattack damage (and thus physical damage) was increasing over time but the on hit damage from Nashors was staying relatively constant as I assume you were not building a lot of AP, and the enemies likely had MR reducing the magic damage.

Corki's passive only affects the damage inflicted by Corki's auto attacks themselves, it will not affect any on hit effects that Corki has. This means that if Corki has Nashor's Tooth, which gives bonus magic damage on hit, Corki will deal more magic damage than physical damage with his auto attacks.
