Queued for Draft got ranked

Today I queued for a normal draft mode game to practice jungling. Turns out I got put into a ranked game without realizing it (don't know how that happened) and was last pick, got stuck top, lost the game, and then got demoted. You might say user error, didn't know what you queued for, but after game I clicked play, and draft mode was highlighted, like I had selected it before. I never play ranked on the weekends cause it usually turns out badly, now I guess i can't play this game on the weekends.
