Kled does not regain RAGE when hiting epic monsters

I love to use Kled as a jungle champion, but in the description of it's passive it says it gains rage when losing scar by hitting epic monsters, but i tried many times, either q or w or A can regain rage on epic jungle monsters, this makes kled jungling very hard, if we lose scar then I have to return home to regain scar, or i have to go on lanes to hit minions which other players will hate me for doing, please confirm in game and fix it soon, Kled is really a jungle that has great potential!!!
