Game crashing, huge problem that for some reason is still not fixed, why?

My game goes on incredibly frustrating streaks where after champ select my game will just bug splat 20 times in a row and either never reconnects to the game, or i'm 10 minutes late, I can't even play anymore, this is the most frustrating thing ever, and I know this problem has been around forever because I see so many other people have had this problem for a long time. I don't understand why this isn't being fixed? it's clearly a huge problem and it's forcing me, and i'm sure a lot of other people, to not play. maybe there is a fix out there that I don't know about? but I haven't seen one, and i'm unsure why Riot wouldn't fix this persisting problem which clearly affects a lot of people and either prevents them from playing, or to some players who might try to play through it, give everybody else in the game a bad experience. For all these new initiatives to positively change the notably negative community of league, I guarantee there would be less people reporting each other if they had 5 teammates for an entire game, playing against 5 enemies, which seems to happen only about 50% of the time. So as of now I can't play League, through no fault of my own, because of a massive flaw in the game, which Riot has neglected to fix for over a year as far as I can tell, why is this okay? please fix this, so myself, and I'm sure others, can play League and spend money on it, simple stuff.
