So I just lost promos without playing a game

Ok, so I was trying to play my promos and well. My screen went completely black in champ select. I get the client is in beta and all that, but I really wish I didnt have to deal with that crap in my promos. I know i cant say much to riot and say "hey. Can you put me back in promos?" Just thought I should let Riot know. I dont have a screen shot, but its a very simple description. The top left buttons were still there so the minimize,help, setting and exit button. I was able to hear all sounds and judging by what I heard I was summoner three on the red team. I was second to ban which allowed me to make the previous assumption. I was able to click and hear the sounds of me clicking on champions, but I was not completely sure where the ban or chat button was. Well, any button in that matter. The timer went down to 0 and I was put back into "Creating a game." I check my profile after and I was no longer standing in promos, but instead at the time of writing this post I am at 97 LP. If I could have a rioter explain to me the situation or just a response I would really appreciate that. Otherwise I hope this issue gets patched up. Im a silver so I dont think its that big of a deal, but this situation would be very upsetting to high elo players. Just thought Riot should know.
