[Gameplay] Rek'Sai able to travel through broken tunnels?

I was playing a game as earlier, support trying to get my last level 7 token. The enemy team had as their jungler, and she had made a tunnel going from the bottom lane river bush to our turret from a previous gank. She was still sitting in the warded bush, and my ADC, , had destroyed the tunnel. I was not lagging, as I have fixed my internet issues and had over 100 FPS and 30 MS. However, the enemy had used her ability to travel through the tunnel that we had destroyed about 2 seconds prior to her coming at us (please note that she did not make a new tunnel, but she literally traveled through cyberspace to kill us).
