[CLIENT] Pick/Ban champion highlight bug

Whenever I go into draft pick, I highlight the champion I want to play. In this case, it was Bard because I'm a support main. I was first to ban since it's draft pick, and I went to ban Blitzcrank or someone like that. The enemy team first-to-ban highlighted Bard to ban, which threw me off because I've never seen someone ban Bard unless they had a bad game. They banned Aatrox or something stupid I think. Then my team banned someone and then the enemy team was next to ban. They banned Bard, and I was upset because I was trying to learn how to play Bard with my friends.

We went into game and I was explaining to my friends that I've had this bug so many times. When you are first to ban a champion, it will show the name of the champion you have highlighted prior to banning - not the splash art, just the name. I went into the game and asked the enemy team if they banned Bard because I had him highlighted. They admitted to doing so and I was upset.

Why does this happen??? And why does no one else seem to have this issue because anyone ask has no clue what I'm talking about. I just want to learn new roles/champs without the random ban! :(
